Mission: Principal activity is the provision of comprehensive, holistic, pediatric services for poor & needy children ages 0-18 in the danbury community who currently lack access to regular healthcare. These services include a full range of preventive medical services including physical examinations and immunizations, sports and camp physical examinations, sick visits, urgent care and various in-office procedures. These health services are provided free of charge to eligible individuals. For any ineligible patients who demonstrate need and who are uninsured or underinsured, samaritan provides health care services at a flat rate fee, calculated on a sliding scale according to need.
Programs: Principal activity is to provide quality and comprehensive pediatric healthcare services. Samaritan health center focuses on preventive care:in the fiscal year 2017, samaritan served 242 new patients, 526 well child checks; as well as 754 sick visits and gave 1,797 vaccines. Samaritan health center continues collaborative relationships with other community organizations, like danbury public school system, coalition for healthy kids, ct free clinic association and the farmers' market to promote healthy lifestyle for all the children live in the greater danbury community.
