Mission: In the rich tradition of catholic social teaching, st. Mary's villa for children and families empowers children and families to lead responsbile lives and develop healthy relationships built on faith, hope, and love.
Programs: Residential programst. Mary's villa for children and families provides a specialized residential program for youth who have demonstrated a history of truancy, emotional disturbance, family conflict and difficulties in the community. This specialized program is comprehensive and addresses the physical, cognitive, social, educational and emotional needs of the youth so that they can become productive members of society. Services are provided in an effort to address school refusal, strengthen family relationships and support systems while developing age appropriate social skills. A strong component of our programming focuses on the skill development and behavioral health needs necessary for reunification with family and introduction into the public school system. All services were provided within the context of our mission to help children and families lead responsible lives and develop healthy relationships based on faith, hope and love. Many of our clients have a history of trauma because of neglect, sexual, physical or emotional abuse. With our support, many have been able to overcome their traumas and maximize their potential because of the safe and secure comprehensive treatment environment we provide.
education:st. Mary's villa for children and families educational services provides academic, emotional, social and behavioral resources to students who have been unsuccessful in traditional school settings. The program assists students in developing skills needed to return successfully to their home district, to obtain their high school diploma or ged, to pursue further education, or go directly into the workforce.
outpatientst. Mary's villa for children and families outpatient services provides a specialized treatment program for youth. Many of our clients have demonstrated a history of truancy, emotional disturbance, family conflict, difficulties in the community, and/or involvement with the legal system. Services are available to clients living in our residential care program or within the community. The outpatient services program is comprehensive and addresses the physical, emotional, cognitive, social and emotional needs of the youth so that they can become productive members of society. Services are provided to this targeted population in an effort to address community conflicts and emotional disturbances, while strengthening family relationships and support systems. All services were provided within the context of our mission to help children and families lead responsible lives and develop healthy relationships based on faith, hope and love.
