Programs: St. Francis house is the largest provider of day services to the homeless in greater boston. In fiscal year 2014, an average of 725 homeless men and women per day received basic services to include:* 278,838 meals served annually at 764 average per day* 10,719 case management contacts annually* 8,695 clothing appointments annually* 8,803 medical appointments annually
the moving ahead program (map) is a transitional housing program serving homeless individuals who are in recovery from substance abuse. Map combines sober recovery home stays with a job-readiness and life skills rehabilitative program. During the year, 196 individuals participated in this program.
the next step housing program provides 56 units of single-occupancy supported housing for low income people who have experienced homelessness, unemployment and substance abuse.
