Causes: Animals, Wildlife Preservation & Protection
Mission: To promote wildlife conservation worldwide, advocate, preserve and protect the rights of all hunters. Purpose is to promote safe, legal and ethical hunting and related activities, fund wildlife conservation projects, education and other programs which benefit the community.
Programs: Special projects involving wildlife conservation and educational programs, including hunter safety. Projects included local youth junior pheasant hunt, fishing event and hunter safety event. Support of san diego county and national wildlife federation programs. Legislative support provides greater public awareness of issues confronting hunting, wildlife management and conservation. Special projects for the benefit of the wounded warriors organization. Member dues provide support for related safari club international programs. Pronghorn sheep project supports international efforts to protect endangerd species. Awls supports national conservation and educational programs.
regular chapter meetings are held to provide a forum for appropriate topics and discussions regarding hunting, conservation and wildlife management.
newsletter and website - provides articles and topics of interst regarding hunting, wildlife management and conservation to members and non-members.
