Well, I heard about this non-profit form my bank. I had to keep calling and calling to get an appointment and when I finally did I met with this very large lady who was very mean and nasty...she said she was sick, but she was just strange..they really did not help me much, they wanted me to take a class where I had to pay $65.00 and I was not too sure about this...I was told by the large, messy lady that that it was required for me to by a house...the whole place seemed very shady. I ended up going back to my bank and I found a better lender who was able to work with me...I do no think NeighborWorks is the best place for people, it can be hard to get an appointment and then they give you the wrong information. I would just stay with your bank and find your own lender.
