Mission: The purpose of the organization is to improve the health and quality of life of residents of the greater sacramento area by promoting bicycling for transportation and promoting more and safer bicycle trips
Programs: Sacramento area bicycle advocates saba provides public agencies, business and property owners, and nonprofit organization with subject expertise on access for bicycling for proposed development projects. Saba provided written comments about potential traffic impacts on bicycling and the amount and configuration of bike parking for 30 residential and commercial development projects in the sacramento region. As part of the project review process, saba also took part in 15 meetings with developers and property owners to discuss issues related to bike access, and in 10 meetings with the sacramento metropolitan air quality management district about proposed development projects.
