As the head of Saboba Medical Centre, the hospital benefiting from Sabobas Hope, I can whole-heartedly recommend Sabobas Hope as worthy of support. Our hospital serves an impoverished population with few resources in a remote part of northeastern Ghana. We must generate all our own monies for buying equipment, training staff, doing renovations, etc. Through the years Sabobas Hope has helped us with borehole wells, renovations, training fees, and a host of other needs.
Sabobas Hope keeps its administrative expenses pared to the bone to make sure that donor monies will accomplish their intended purpose. On behalf of our staff, our patients, their families, and all the communities Saboba Medical Centre serves, we thank Sabobas Hope for all their efforts and we thank you in advance for donating.
A donation to Sabobas Hope will help our communities become healthy, happy, and productive.
Thanks in advance.

Saboba's Hope is a very small non profit, supporting the Saboba Medical Centre, in Saboba, Ghana. The hospital serves 120,000 people of the region including some who cross the border from Togo. There is only one doctor an American woman, a surgeon, Jean Young, who has served there since 1992. The hospital provides inpatient, and surgical services.
Saboba's Hope has been able to donate about $125,000 in equipment since its founding in 2008. In 2012 we donated 4 oxygen concentrators, an air conditioner for the surgical suite, a computer and software, and funds to provide a covered waiting room for patients.
Please consider supporting Saboba's Hope with a donation. Doctors are welcome to volunteer.
We desperately need a doctor. Dr. Jean is on call 24/7 when she is in town. She leaves once a month to rest.
Our goal for 2013 is to donate an anesthesia machine, and as donations come in, we will help them with new benches in the waiting room, new desks and chairs for the office, an autoclave or what they request.
