Mission: The organizations mission is to empower individuals and families in crisis to become sustainable through holistic individualized services, accountability and grace.
Programs: Educating and case management: mentoring programs benefit at-risk or adjudicated youth, with 1,083 clients participating in mentoring services; 269 clients receiving health education and screenings; 112 clients completed financial literacy classes; 24 clients participating in employment services; and 62 clients participating in the community and lifestyle classes.
emergency assistance: food, clothing, and individual assistance. The center provided assistance to approximately 500 family units per month. Each family received an estimated 30 lbs of basic food. Some limited cash assistance on a case by case basis was also provided if funds were available. An estimated 261,052 of food was distributed in 2017 to families in need.
counseling and ministerial services: 681 clients participating in adult bible classes in support of spiritual and emotional health; 578 clients participating in the lives exchanged for christ program through counseling sessions, bible study and funerals.
various other programs: support groups, health services, case management, clothing assistance.
I am amazed at the current and projected growth of this incredible social service agency. Assisting so many people with such desperate needs. Simply great people, at a fantastic organization doing much needed work improving lives and outcomes for individuals, families and their community. I am truly humbled to bear witness to their works.
