Rwandan International Network Association (RINA) opened avenues for me and the whole Rwandan community in Washington metropolitan area by engaging people in responsible and creative ways of preserving our Rwandan culture, provides access to educational opportunities and more importantly RINA helps in bringing the community together through actions for the common good.
RINA Provides structured opportunities for people to reflect critically on ways of helping themselves and lending a hand to others in need. For example, Rina set up an educational fund that helps pay tuition for deserving children from Rwanda!

RINA is a great non profit organization that strives to improve the lives of Rwandans abroad and at home. RINA helps the helpless through many of its great programs designed to assist and support those whose dreams for a better life would otherwise remain dreams forever. For instance, through its scholarship program, RINA helps young and poor rwandans to get educated and this plays a big role in rebuilding the communities that were ravaged by the 1994 genocide and in turn it gives the country of Rwanda a helping hand in improving its population's lives as it continues to do all it can to combat poverty.

RINA has been been an incredibly dynamic organization advocating and meeting the needs of Rwandans both in Rwanda and in the US diaspora. Despite limited resources, its team of volunteers have been extremely resourceful.
