Programs: Housing - ROSE develops affordable housing for rent and for sale to low-income households. We manage and maintain a portfolio of rental housing to provide good homes for low-income residents and maintain housing stock as a long-term asset for our neighborhoods.
Resident Assets - ROSE supports the residents of our affordable housing communities with activities designed to help families succeed and create economic opportunities. Examples include after-school programs, summer enrichment, employment, health promotion, community gardens, recreational activities and social events.
Community Development - ROSE organizes a variety of neighborhood improvement projects identified by members of our community. These projects include economic development, commercial district revitalization, parks and child care.
ROSE has been making a huge impact in SE Portland for over 20 years. My Wife and I recently moved into a neighborhood that ROSE focuses on. It's good to know that there is effective work being done by ROSE in affordable housing, innovative programs, and economic development.
