Breaking Barriers and Changing Lives by empowering the oppressed with knowledge is what Rose Academies is all about. Rose Academies has helped a lot of girls and young mothers in Uganda into realizing their full potential in life by teaching how to make Reusable pads, which helps keep the girl child in school. In the field of Healthcare education especially in the rural areas, Rose Academies has brought Android Apps that help teach sensitive subjects for instance the use of the Hedhi App which shows all about Menstruation and Hygiene Management.

I am working with Rose Academies in Uganda and our goal is to empower the oppressed with knowledge. The children, women and the disabled. We are currently training the making of re usable sanitary pads, educating basic sanitation, puberty and gender differences. Rose Academies is doing a great job with gender empowerment and community development, and am so proud to be part of this great team.
i have been following the immense work Rose Academies has been doing over the years ... and have been meaning to sit down and properly write something about the organization and it’s founder Linda Susan Stasi. The immense body of work and it’s magnitude deserve more than just a few words. I would start with the vision of the organization and it’s team. The fact that the organization is not only raising awareness about key issues affecting women and by extension society, they are also equipping communities with skills -that is how change is created, triggering sustainable development. Rose Academies’ impact is visible when you see happiness and more than just a ray of hope within the communities they work with. They are truly an inspiration.

Susan Staci and the team of Rose Academy has been working hard on improving the lives of those receiving life skill and literacy education from Rose Academy since 2014. The Rose Academy goal of empowering vulnerable, oppressed impoverished women and children through a sustainable program of education has proved to be successful in Sub Saharan
African rural communities. The work of the Rose Academy has been constant. The stories of the success of the Rose Academy has been inspirational. Removing the barriers that keep youth out of school has been a quest of the Rose Academy. Women and children are empowered with knowledge so they can move forward in their lives and make life better for themselves and their children. When women are educated, lives of their families and the community improve. The Rose Academy moves forward to continue their good work and make it sustainable. I support the Rose Academy with my monthly donation and am inspired to continue my contributions. The Rose Academy is doing important work in the world.
I am a professor of Computer Science and Engineering at Santa Clara University, and I advise students working on mobile projects for social impact. We collaborate with Rode Academies. They have been using our mobile apps to help impoverished girls in rural Uganda. They go to rural Uganda where they use our app to teach young girls about women's health and train them to teach other girls. They do an amazing job and have inspired us to work on more projects for these communities.
Rose Academies is a nonprofit that I have learned invaluable lessons from about the world I am living in, and has given me so much pride, just being in a small part of it. I first volunteered out with Rose Academies in April 2018, which I found out about through school while I was a freshman in high school. I am now a junior and I am so lucky to say that I have helped out at every opportunity I was given by Ms. Stasi since then. As soon as I heard about what this nonprofit does and the endless work these people put into it in order to help others, I wanted to be a part of it in any way possible. The people who make up this organization work extremely hard and push the limits in order to make amazing things happen. It is really inspiring to me as I am growing up- yes it is cheesy but it is true- to see these people come together and work towards something that they are passionate about. I hope someday I will work for an organization as incredible as this one with other people who are just as passionate. Rose Academies deserves endless support!

Susan and Rose Academies is out there on the front lines, educating, empowering, and caring for young people in Uganda. Their education modules around puberty and reproductive health are saving lives and lifting up communities. Rose Academies does what all leaders in public health should do: listen to the community and use grassroots organizing to bring change. I am honored to call Rose Academies a collaborator for myself and my students.
I have been working at Rose Academies as a board member for a couple of years now. I had choices to join/volunteer for other charities but I picked Rose due to its total dedication to empowering vulnerable and oppressed women and youth in Sub-Saharan African countries. It's the most unselfish charity I have seen where not only there are no admin costs, the team and volunteers put their own money to support the cause. The CEO, Susan Stasi is an unrelenting force with full of energy which is truly inspirational. We need so much more help to continue changing lives of the poorest of the poor. Any donations of money, time, and computers is truly appreciated.
Rose Academies does a great job of working with disadvantaged communities in Sub Saharan Africa to promote education, health and empowerment. They are focused on gender empowerment and community development in rural areas. I would highly recommend donating time, money and/or resources to Rose Academies because they are doing important work that can be expanded to save more lives.
Rose Academies is an amazing hands-on nonprofit that is invested in helping women and communities by providing them opportunities to have a brighter future. I have volunteered for Rose Academies for over a year and each experience with Susan Stasi, the founder, has been inspiring and encouraging. I am so excited to see this nonprofit grow and all the amazing work it will do.
I have volunteered for Rose Academies for nearly a year now. Our goal is to help impoverished people in the Sub Sahara. We are working on multiple efforts ranging from drilling a well in a rural community to helping women learn vocational skills. I am proud to be part of such a great cause.
The mission of St. Mary di Rosa Academies (SMRA) is to improve educational programs for impoverished girls and deaf children in Sub Sahara Africa. Activities to support our mission include graphic design workshops for girls to reduce the gender gap in technology, a vocational center for women offering classes on enterprise development, sponsoring deaf children by funding their tuition at CERSOM School for the Deaf, and sustainable efforts to ensure potable water for communities. The SMRA founder, Susan Stasi, has limitless energy and passion for these efforts. Every dollar donated to SMRA goes toward SMRA activities.
St.Mary Di Rosa Academies helps alleviate the life conditions of impoverished youth through education and better health situations. Thank you and more power!
Parents today seem to have an incredible number of decisions they have to make regarding the lives of their daughters (regarding education, activities, the use of technology, employment, etc. . . ). Thank you St. Mary di Rosa Academies for saying “yes” . May the girls draw strength from St. Mary . And may the Team and the girls continue on a journey not filled with complete understanding or clarity, but with a deep and abiding faith --- finding hope and strength and peace even when life isn’t going as planned --- by knowing where to find it --- in our God!
St. Mary di Rosa Academies is working towards a great cause by helping numerous people in the Sub Sahara. Not only are we helping the impoverished regions with basic necessities like Washable Sanitary Pads and Dignity kits but we are also helping educate them about basic sanitation, puberty, gender differences and vocational skills to be independent and make a living. Some of the rural areas don't have access to clean drinking water and we are raising funds to help drill a well and help provide clean water in these impoverished areas.
I am proud and honored to be a part of such a great organization.
I have seen this nonprofit grow from an idea to a multi-sector partnership across borders. It is inspiring to watch the great work being done in the Sub Sahara, and the connections being made around the world through the relentless efforts of the CEO/founder. This group also has a strong board, with a small but invested volunteer base. I feel confident that this nonprofit pours all efforts and resources into their communities of interest. I firmly stand behind their vision to meet the needs of the community in the Sub Sahara through education, empowerment, and equity.
Excellent work by Susan Stasi. Her contribution for the community is truely inspiring. She is very passionate about helping others.
This non-profit is doing incredible things to help women and children in Africa! Susan is extremely passionate about the work and does not give up easily! She loves the people she is helping and makes sure the funds are used to help them.
