I’m sorry to deliver such disappointing news. Please pray hard and think twice about donating to this Ronald McDonald house. It needs to be investigated on their so called requirements to assist those in need. My granddaughter who is 7 years old was in a house for a few days ago. She’s currently still in the hospital on Christmas Day!! I reached out to them for assistance and was turned down!! How can anyone have the nerve to turn anyone away who is in need but most of all using donations!! The money is not even theirs to decide!! I’m so hurt and sad that this happened but I want everyone to be aware of this organization who claims to help but does do at their own discretion!! I call it discrimination!! It’s sad but true!!

Mission: Ronald McDonald House Charities® of the Piedmont Triad provides a "home-away-from-home," in our House and Family Rooms to families with children receiving medical care in our community.
Programs: Ronald McDonald House Charities® of the Piedmont Triad provides a “home away from home” for families with children receiving treatment in our community’s medical facilities. Located steps away from Brenner Children’s Hospital, right down the road from Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center, and close to other medical facilities, the House allows quick accessibility to a child’s bedside. We operate three Ronald McDonald Family Rooms: at Brenner Children’s Hospital, Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center, and Cone Health Women’s and Children’s Center. Each room has comfortable seating areas, kitchens stocked with donated snacks and meals, and computers with Internet access. The rooms are designed as a quiet space for families to forget they’re in a hospital; as places to rest, regroup and refuel just steps away from their child.
