Causes: Health, Patient & Family Support
Mission: “Provide a ‘home-away-from-home’ for families of seriously ill-children, and support to organizations that serve the needs of children.” Ronald McDonald House Charities of Metro St. Louis is dedicated to serving the needs of children by providing temporary housing and other support services to families of seriously-ill children who are receiving treatment at area hospitals, and by providing support and grants to organizations that serve the needs of children.
Direct beneficiaries per year: Annually, over 1,200 families have stayed in one of our Ronald McDonald Houses and over 5,300 families, both local and out-of-town, have used one of our three Ronald McDonald Family Rooms.
