Programs: Rmhca provides a temporary home-away-from home to families of sick or injured children. Rmhca requests donations of $10 per night for the services provided. During 2014, rmhca provided approximately 988 guest stays at the birmingham ronald mcdonald house. Approximately 3,166 individuals volunteered at the birmingham ronald mcdonald house in 2014.
the ronald mcdonald house family room at dch tuscaloosa - the family room is intended to help families find a place of healing and hope. A place to gather strength and be comforted during life's most difficult times. The family room gives parents a place to stay close to their sick child while getting a break from the ongoing stress of beeping monitors and busy intensive care units.
