Volunteers are the heartbeat of the St. Vincent de Paul Center of Hanford CA. There are no compensesation to any of the over 90 volunteers that staff the organization. In 2013 St. Vincent was awarded the Points of Light Service Enterprise Certificate for volunteerism. St. Vincent services over 15,000 individuals each year with food and clothing. There are no cost for our services but clients must meet low-income criteria and have a picture identification. St Vincent is an intergal part of the Hanford community each year we participate with other organizations. The United Way Project Homeless Connect, Soroptomist Child Spree, Veteran's Stand-down, Community Food Bank Holiday Meal baskets, Kings Community Action Drought Distribution meal boxes and the United States Marines Toys for Tots program with toy distribution.
