Full disclosure-I’ve never been to the facility, nor have I met any of the staff. My rating is based on what I see on Facebook and what I hear from people who’ve been a part of their activities. As a Recreation Therapist working the the field of Substance Use treatment, I have been a fan of ROCovery from the beginning! This is what the recovery community needs! Positive PEOPlE to associate with, a PLACE to go for support and wellness and THINGS to do -exercise, yoga, meetings, hiking, road trips, etc... We need more places like this!!!!
I found Rocovery Fitness through outpatient rehabilitation. Going there has changed my life for the better. I now have a wealth of positive friends and family who support me and celebrate the successes in my recovery. Rocovery is always a welcoming place to make positive changes in your life.
I have gone through issues with my drinking for YEARS. When I'm bored I want to drink and when I'm with my friends we end up drinking. A friend of mine recommended a place they had seen on Facebook and I decided to give it a try. For months my drinking had gone down to next to nothing since I was able to be around "people" without the pressure of alcohol. You are always moving and doing something with this group from simple workouts (Not simple... exhausting) to hiking around the state. I have not been in some time due to working a lot, having a family and not being able to drive due to a DWI. I would say the driving issue would be a big deal if not for the fact that all I would have to do is post that I'd like to attend on their Facebook and in 3 secs one of the members would offer a ride because that's who they are and what they do. I would recommend this family to anyone that enjoys being sober to someone that needs to be sober.... Thank you guys and keep doing you!
My son is a recovering addict and thanks to ROCovery he is doing exceptionally well. He was welcomed with open arms and the love they share with each other and care for each other is amazing. He became "involved" and with the support of ROCovery began to find himself. He knew he was worth more then the way he was treating his body, mind and soul. The staff is remarkable and the entire group becomes family. THANK YOU ROCOVERY!!!!!!
I can not explain enough how much this non profit helps your community providing an avenue for people in need of support at difficult stages in their life. I only wish Cemtral N.Y. had a group like this providing the outreach they do. They have served so many in need help them please.
I found ROCovery through an effort to get help for a family member suffering from SUD and with it have found the most amazing source of inspiration, positivity, laughter, friendship, fellowship, fulfillment, and employment. Wherever you are on your journey and whoever you are, ROCovery is the place to learn how rewarding a sober, active life can be. Can't love or recommend them enough!!!!!!!!!!

I can't say enough about Rocovery Fitness and what it has done for our community. I myself I am a advocate for helping recovering addicts. I have recommended many of people with various addictions over to Rocovery. They have found a purpose there, with a clean and health way of living. The support there is just tremendous. And for what Yana and her group has offered to the community is just amazing. I know many people that have become clean and stable, throwing themselves into fitness and finding where they belong. The sober and fitness event's and simply amazing.

As a therapist who works with many people struggling with addiction, I recognize what a void ROCovery Fitness has filled in our community. It is the first to offer an approach that focuses on physical fitness, with emphasis on group activities. No price can be placed on the benefits they offer to individuals in recovery, and to our community.
Many, many thanks to Yana, her staff, the Board for their vision and dedication.

I love RoCovery. It’s a wonderful organization that helps the community, in so many different ways. I take advantage of the free workout classes. They have helped me to become stronger and helped me to achieve some fitness goals. It’s a comfortable atmosphere and they make you feel welcomed.
I got involved with Rocovery via a friend. I am a former Substance Abuse Counselor. I have raised money for them as I believe strongly in what they do. The staff and volunteers are truly dedicated and focused on the population served. They care and it shows. Yana is an amazing leader and her devotion is palpable in everything she does.
I first heard of Rocovery through a radio ad. I parked my car and grabbed a piece of paper to record the number. Even at the age of 33, after 2 decades, my father's drug addiction took center stage in my world of worry. I hoped that this unique form of support through fitness would be thing to keep him straight. To my surprise he actually accepted the offer and called. He attended a few classes and my heart swelled. I reached out to the owners Sean and Yana because their mission had touched our family. Although my father discontinued his attendance, I found peace by volunteering as a coach. Since then I have been liberated from my anxiety and worry by pouring that energy into helping spread awareness of ROCovery's important mission and services. This organization has changed our lives in so many positive ways.
