Causes: Mental Health, Sexual Assault Services
Mission: Rockford Sexual Assault Counseling, Inc. (RSAC) responds to the needs of victims of sexual assault/ abuse and their families/significant others through emergency services, emotional support, counseling, referral, advocacy, and education, and promotes awareness and understanding of sexual assault. The focus of RSAC is to provide services to survivors of sexual assault/abuse and to educate the community to reduce the risk of sexual violence.
Target demographics: victims of sexual assault.
Geographic areas served: Boone, Winnebago and Ogle Counties IL
Programs: Rockford Sexual Assault Counseling is a group of caring professionals who provide 24-hour counseling for victims of sexual assault and abuse in Winnebago, Boone and Ogle Counties. All counselors and volunteers have received special training in working with victims and their families.
