Mission: "The mission of the Rochester Police Athletic/Activities League (PAL) is to promote positive relationships between police officers and youth through community based educational and recreational opportunities. Unique approaches that will ultimately help youth become more productive, contributing members of society. Rochester PAL's roots are in a pick-up basketball league between two community oriented policing officers (COPS)and the youth in their neighborhoods. The positive relationships that grew from the league continue to this day.
