Mission: The primary purpose of our organization is to preserve and restore local historical structures on a 3 acre village site, in addition to conducting historical research of the Rochester, Illinois area. In fiscal year 2002, we began disassembling and moving a Stone House originally built in 1834. In July of 2007, the Stone House was essentially completed with the placement of the door latches. During this past fiscal year, several hundred people have visited Stone House.
