Mission: The center exists to provide affordable, quality, licensed child care and preschool in a safe, nurturing, environment, serving diverse families in our neighborhood and our city.
Programs: Rwccc provides affordable child care to families who have few options. The center serves a high percentage of impoverished people. A high percentage of children served are from families at or below 200% of the poverty level. Healthy meals are provided using usda guidelines. Rwccc is the only sliding fee scale center in harrisonburg that provides infant care, which is in high demand. School readiness is emphasized using blueprint curriculum. Our goal is that each child, from the diverse families of our community, will develop intellectually, physically, emotionally, socially and creatively while enrolled at our center.

Roberta Webb CCC is a caring, learning, safe environment for child age 2-5. I have worked there for 13 years and I have prepared these children for Kindergarten. Schools have commented on the readiness displayed by children who have attended RWCCC and can see the difference a good Pre-K program makes. Affordable and literacy based program available to all.
My business, CLS Internet Marketing, had the privilege of working with The Roberta Webb Child Care Center in Harrisonburg, Virginia to plan and coordinate a local fundraiser to help support the ongoing efforts of the center's child care services. I worked specifically with Angela Lawson who engineered a very successful public support campaign by reaching out to local businesses and securing sponsorships in addition to working closely with James Madison University to acquire volunteers and oversight for venues and promotion. The quality and character behind the staff, employees, and supporters of the center are one of a kind. I am forever grateful to have been involved in helping this nonprofit organization secure its financial contributions for the future of its child care tenures and wish the organization a bright and successful future.
