Causes: Arts & Culture, Historical Organizations
Mission: To educate and inform the general public about the history, legacy, and contributions of robert and mary church terrell and to tell the story of the ledroit park neighborhood; to promote the study and interpretation of, and encourage and broaden public interest in the political, social and cultural impact of the terrell's life and work and that of the many distinguished residents of ledroit park; to enhance public awareness of these subjects through the maintenance of an archival repository, and the collection, preservation and exhibition of materials related to these subjects.
Programs: The museum and cultural center is established to educate and inform the general public about the history and legacy of robert and mary church terrell.
