Mission: The roane county united way, a non-profit organization, exists to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of the roane county community. Our product is community impact. Community impact is defined as improving lives by mobilizing communities to create lasting change. We are focused on the following areas - community safety, children's services, family and senior services, crisis services, health services, basic needs and financial stability. United way partners with businesses, governmnets, and other non-profit organizations to find solutions to ongoing issues. We promote and encourage the community to give, advocate and volunteer.
Programs: The organization completed its 2014 campaign allowing them to further human service programs and promote preventative activities in roane county by providing agencies direct and indirect financial assistance.
