Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Crime & Law, Half-Way Houses for Offenders & Ex-Offenders
Mission: Christianity programs, general/other: transitional housing for women and men coming out of jails and or off the streets. Also providing transportation to jobs, other transportation needs. We are able to house 10 women and 9 men at this time. We currently have one transitional house and one outreach center. We hope to add more housing for both men and women.
Programs: We have been able to transition people back out into society as productive people, by providing safe housing, and help them to get their id's, and transportation to and from job interviews, probation office visits, doctor visits, to and from their jobs. We also offer on site meetings that are to encourage, and educate the residents and others that come to the outreach site for help . We have also been able to make a difference in the community by offering free clothes from a on-site clothes closet. We have also been able to help the community by offering free food for the needy from an on-site food pantry. We fed over 200 people for thanksgiving, and over 220 for christmas.
