Starting watching Dolphin Project livestreams on IG and Facebook. What happens in Taiji is horrific. Keep u the amazing work.
I remember attending fundraisers for Dolphin Project in the 1970's in Coconut Grove. such great memories.
I donated to sponsor the last 3 dolphins they rescued and released from that rundown hotel swimming pool. Hoping to support more rescues!
Learned about Ric and the Dolphin Project from watching the film The Cove. After it won the Academy Award, I had to watch it. Dolphin Project has been working on ending the dolphins hunts in Taiji and making progress.
Been following them for years. I support their efforts to readapt and release dolphins. Hopefully we will see more sanctuaries soon.
Dear Dolphin Project Team,
I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation for the incredible work you are doing on the ground in Taiji, Japan, during the dolphin killing season. Your presence and efforts are invaluable in raising awareness and advocating for the protection of these magnificent creatures.
Your continued collaboration with the villagers in Fanalei, Solomon Islands, is particularly commendable. By working directly with the community to bring an end to dolphin hunting, you are not only protecting dolphins but also fostering a deeper understanding of environmental marine protection and sustainable fisheries management.
Moreover, your initiatives to introduce sustainable agricultural and husbandry principles are a testament to your holistic approach. By increasing food independence while respecting cultural norms, you are ensuring that the community can thrive without compromising their traditions or the environment.
Thank you for your dedication, compassion, and relentless efforts in making a positive impact. Your work is inspiring and crucial for the preservation of our marine ecosystems and the well-being of local communities.
With gratitude and admiration,
Vietnam,
Ngọc Nhi
Dolphin Project is a great charity raising awareness and helping release and support Dolphins who have been in captivity!!
It raises awareness and much needed support to help free Dolphins around the world !!
Dolphin Project forever. I remember when you released Joe and Rosie, 2 bottlenose dolphins that John Lilly worked with. I think it was a National Geographic special in the 1980's.
Five star all the way! I love dolphins so much and Dolphin Project is at the leading charity to protect them.
Ric O'Barry is a legend. I saw the Cove in high school and have been a big fan ever since. Thank you for opening my eyes to the plight of captive dolphins.
Been a big supporter for many years. I've been following since the early day in the 1970's. Ric O'Barry and his team are heroes.
Ever since The Cove, I've been a huge fan. Dolphin Project shows up! Congrats of the rescue and release of the 3 Bali dolphins.
A great non-profit that has proven results in bringing awareness to the inhumane slaughter and forced captivity industry of dolphins for profit (cetaceans). My wife and I are extremely pleased to financially donate to non-profits with tangible results, such as Dolphin Project.
Dolphin Project has developed a proven rehabilitation program for former captive dolphins. This year alone Dolphin Project released three dolphins back into the wild from the first ever dolphin sanctuary, created in conjunction with the Indonesian government! Tangible results that prove rehabilitation is a reality. In addition, Dolphin Project provided restored a dolphin's teeth, removed in the captivity trade, to allow its successful release.
Recently Dolphin Project's protocol was again used by a foreign government to successfully release a dolphin held in captivity for some 17 years.
Fighting captivity of dolphins for exploitation is worth any donation one could afford. We have no regrets in financially supporting this non-profit. We know our donations go directly to promoting exposing the captivity for profit industry.
No price can be placed on helping gentle and amazing creatures like this guy!
I have been volunteering for RODP for over 10 years. They are passionate about saving captive dolphins world wide, which is why I joined as a volunteer. Their grassroots solutions to big problems are changing how we look at marine mammal captivity issues and solutions.
We love Ric and his work. Everyone at Dolphin Project is doing such important work for dolphins everywhere.
The organization, for over 50 years, has operated with integrity and accountability, while maintaining a grass-roots feel. Highly recommend if you want to see real positive change!
One of my favorite NGO's to support! They are one of the most dedicated groups working to end the exploitation and slaughter of dolphins all over the world.
Dolphin Project does amazing work leading the charge to protect dolphins. I have been following their work and supporting them for more than 30 years. They have been the leading group to create seaside dolphin sanctuaries and readapt and release former performing dolphins back into the wild.
I have volunteered for Dolphin Project for several years. The team is full of dedicated, hard working and passionate people!
I started advocating for Dolphin Project over 10 gets ago, after watching the academy award winning documentary- The Cove.
Their tireless work for the welfare and protection of dolphins worldwide, most recently resulted in the rescue and release of 3 formerly performing dolphins. They truly are a boots on the ground organisation doing amazing work!
