Mission: Rgc access provides sign language interpreting services and sign languageinterpreter coordination services for deaf, hard of hearing and deaf-blind consumers
Programs: Sign language interpretation - rgc access provides on-site signed language interpreting services statewide as well as distance video remote interpreting (vri) services for organizations that have internet capability to support it. We contract with more than fifty new mexico licensed and nationally certified interpreters. Our interpreters are ready for any interpreting situation. Our services include interpreting in the areas of educational, medical, vocational, mental health, conferences, legal, etc 1,146 individuals served.
dagat -outreach and education support services for persons with disabilities in nm regarding tabacoo cessation and prevention. Dagat meets monthly and consists of representatives from disability stakeholder groups, disability youth organizations, and services providers to develop community outreach methods and educational materials. Dagat also offers presentations and workshops about tobacco use for vulnerable populations. In addition to the new mexico department of health, dagat also works with
doh- sexual assault project outreach and education support services for persons with disabilities in nm regarding safety from sexual assault. 163 individuals served
