Results: More than 1 in 10 children will be sexually abused before their 18th birthday. This silent epidemic changes children at their core. Revved Up Kids trains thousands of Atlanta-area children and teens each year to be safer from the monsters who want to sexually abuse and exploit them.

Target demographics: K-8th grade boys & girls, 6th-college girls, parents and caregivers, child-serving organizations.

Direct beneficiaries per year: In our most recent training year (school year 2017/18) we trained more than 5,000 children to be safer from predators!

Geographic areas served: Metro Atlanta area and surrounding north and central Georgia counties.

Programs: Revved Up Kids provides training programs to help children and teens recognize unsafe people, avoid dangerous situations and escape attackers. Our training helps kids understand who predators are and how they operate, and equips them to defend themselves if they ever meet a predator.

Revved Up Kids will equip your children and teens to recognize, avoid and escape (if necessary) inappropriate behavior -- whether it comes from a stranger or from someone they know. The sad (and alarming) fact is that in 90% of cases, abusers and their victims knew each other before the abuse. One of the most important things you can do to protect your children is to give them the knowledge to be smarter, stronger and safer. Revved Up Kids uses research-tested, age-appropriate material and training to empower children and teens -- not frighten them -- and to teach simple, memorable techniques to deflect potential abusers and to communicate to parents and other adults when inappropriate behavior occurs. There also are classes and training for parents and for others who have children in their care, such as schools and community groups. I highly recommend Revved Up Kids as essential to any child or teen's education.

Decided to take my son when he was 6 for this training course. I really appreciated how thorough and yet kid friendly it was. I personally learned a lot by being in the class with him but watching him learn about personal safety made me feel much more secure. He has already asked me to sign him up again this year now that he's a "big kid" (7 years old now ☺️).

The Protected While Connected course for new users of mobile devices/online games was fantastic. RUK gave great guidance on language/facts to describe difficult material related to safety and pornography, and served as an "on the level" authoritative voice to reinforce the reason why home rules are in place. Thank you!

I organized a High School girls Safety/Self defense Training class. We had 22 girls participate. The class was very informative and interactive. The girls had open discussion and actual self defense training. Everything taught was appropriate and necessary for this age group. Thank you Revved Up!

I was fortunate enough to be given the information of a Revved Up Kids seminar through my kids school (2 & 4). I had an idea of the information that I was going to receive this evening...however the delivery and detail were incredibly informative. Ali, is powerful, loving & straightforward. There is no doubt that she loves and breaths her calling...to protect children and families. I’m so inspired & thankful. Everyone, I mean EVERYONE will know about this. This information SAVES LIVES.

My 12 y.o. daughter and 6 y.o. son learned assertiveness skills in a group class appropriate for their age. It was very informative and gave them time to practice the skills in case they needed to break away from a predator. As a parent, I find it very helpful that my kids know they can trust their instincts and stay far enough away physically from someone who may want to take advantage of them.

Amazing class! We organized this training for our Daisy Troop comprised of 6-7 year old girls. Like many moms we understand the dangers but it’s a difficult subject to convey to your child. It was even uncomfortable to propose scheduling this event to the other parents. The training is completely age appropriate as well as the skills taught. I was very impressed with the clear concise content and organization of the session. Was it uncomfortable.. of course but the benefits are immeasurable!! We’ll be scheduling a refresher yearly! No child should be without this training.

RUK came out to speak to our 6th grade Girl Scout troop. The girls ( and the moms) all left a little bit mightier than they arrived. The approach was no nonsense without taking a 'scare tactic' angle. The message was relayed in a way that the girls could understand and respond to. The physical defense portion was amazing and the ability to be hands on was key. We are so thankful for the opportunity to empower our daughters in this way. The experience exceeded our expectations! Thank you Revved Up Kids!

I took a Revved Up Kids class years ago with my oldest son. It has transformed how we talk about safety with our now three kids. It was one of the most memorable courses I have taken as a parent and has had an immeasurable impact on our family. Namely, our kids are more aware and I am less frightened of them being away from me than I would be if we had not taken the time to invest our time in this class. Worth every penny, every minute. Keep up the great work!

I really appreciated the class to re-enforce a child's awarness and safety. I have recommended my prior church family to call you to setup a class. This training is needed in all churches, so we can be relevant with todays times. Unfortunaley these are the times we're living in and we must do all we can to protect and educate our kids.

Once again thank you so much, I brought my 8 yrs old God-son. He really enjoyed the class and we have been review daily and I told his mom to follow-up with him as well.

My daughters recently took Revved Up Kids training class and I can't say enough good things about this organization. Instructors are friendly, informative and create a safe, comfortable environment for children while they learn about unsafe people. (No easy task!) The training was appropriate and age specific. I love how they have the children practice the strategies they're taught. Thank you Revved Up Kids for caring to make a difference in the lives of our children!

Great non-profit organization! Extremely useful safety and defense information given to the kids. I'm going to explore having them come to our children's school. This is pertinent and potentially life saving information that ALL children should hear and have access to. Excellent job Revved Up!

My child attends karate classes and I thought she was learning all she needed to be safe. When we took a short class offered by Revved Up Kids at the Saftey Village, I quickly learned that my 5 year old needed self defense techniques that suited her age and size against larger attackers. I am thankful for their wake up call and have been diligent about the proper education my child needs to be safe.

Thank you so much Revved Up Kids. I had an opportunity to bring my son to a safety event on 4/28/18 held by DeKalb County Recreation Center. The information along with the self defense techniques were life changing. I recommend any parent or guardian to take their kid to an event like this. My 12 year old son was well engaged with the tools he was learning. He also pointed out afterwards a few techniques he learned from his karate school. I even learned some techniques. I feel so much better that he is equipped with the necessary technique if a situation accrued.

This was a fantastic experience packed with much learning, and helpful information we can take home to continue the conversation with our son. I would highly recommend this class and the Revved Up Kids organization to anyone who wants to further their knowledge and awareness of family safety. Revved Up Kids, Inc. is saving children's lives! I have been so privileged to work with this organization and would highly recommend them to others. Revved Up Kids teaches children and teens to recognize and protect themselves from the unsafe people in their lives. They also teach parents about the dangers of predators and about the dangers of the internet and social media. Parent and kids are completely engaged in their presentation and learn so much information about how to stay safe in a very dangerous world.

The program was relevant, creative and engaging. The parents feedback was all positive. We considered it time well spent for both youth and parents. HomeStretch guides working homeless families toward stability and the contect and delivery of the Revved Up Kids program enhanced our mission...the families needed this information and will remember it. I just took my 8th grader to a middle school self-defense class at the Decatur Police Dept. put on by Revved Up Kids. They do training starting at 5 years old through high school, I think sometimes college. The training was EXCELLENT, and I was taking notes on my phone through the whole thing. My daughter and about 40-50 kids participated while parents sat and observed and learned. The instructor was WONDERFUL, she looked like she could have been anyone's mom, and was accessible and funny and kept the kids really engaged. She gave out a lot of information in the 2-hour class, and the kids had a chance to try different self-defense moves against dummies for at least half of it. They will work with any school, congregation, youth group, scouts, etc. to provide trainings. There were both boys and girls there and I could tell they were learning something they didn't know. Totally worth the $25 charge through the DPD (not sure if it was subsidized by DPD). I think they also offered classes through DPD for younger and older ages. Wanted to share and highly recommend this program.

Revved Up Kids, Inc. presented their program at Girl Talk Camp 2017 this past summer and were absolutely amazing! Alli, David, and their team were extremely friendly and generous with their time and talents. They taught our 100+ 4th - 12th grade girls how to defend themselves and be confident in a situation. Our girls were not only engaged throughout the program, but learned techniques and lessons that will help them for years to come. We wanted to provide a program that would be informative and hands on and were thrilled when we connected with Alli. Revved Up Kids definitely exceeded our expectations and we hope to be able to partner with them again soon.

She had a lot of fun kicking and punching, while in between getting quit a lot of information, which was delivered in a way the kids could understand. It did open my eye to a could of scenarios I had not think of!
I would do it again in a heart beat .

The K-5 Safety/Self-Defense Workshop was wonderful! The instructor was fabulous - clear and to the point but also had a sense of humor. I feel my child is much better armed to identify unsafe people and also defend himself if need be. Plenty of great information for parents, too. It's a conversation we need to keep having, and I feel much more prepared to so now. Thank you!

Revved Up Kids tailored a program for our Teen Girls, ages 12 to 18. It was extremely informative and most helpful for the girls to learn Self Defense Techniques. As a Mother/Daughter organization, the moms knew the class would be beneficial but we were pleasantly surprised by the number of girls who wanted to participate and their positive feedback. We highly recommend Revved Up Kids. Every teenage girl should attend this class!

My group of middle school-aged Girl Scouts participated in a Safety Class with Revved Up Kids. Alli & David were fantastic to work with before the event, and were incredibly helpful and responsive to questions and concerns. The class content was detailed, with information and examples that were very relatable to the girls. The girls especially loved the hands-on portion of the class, during which they learned how to defend themselves in a variety of dangerous situations. The parents all had very positive feedback, especially as related to the portions of the class that concerned social media, and helping girls overcome their fear of being "impolite" when in uncomfortable/potentially dangerous situations,

My 11-y-o son attended their workshop and I rhought it was straight to the point and included the most important stuff. They also provide opportunities for kids to get some physical training. It wouldn't make sense to overfill kids with too much information that they wouldn't be able to remember.
