Mission: The organizations primary exempt purpose is to provide a variety of opportunities for retired persons aged 55 older to participated more fully in the life of their communities through significant volunteer service.
Programs: Rsvp of enid and north central oklahoma, inc. Ended 2017 with 518 active senior volunteers who contributed 112,533 hours of service. Our volunteers had 53 stations to choose from in a five county catchment area including garfield, grant, noble, alfalfa, and major counties. Our average costs of service to these five areas were . 52 cents per hour. Oklahomas value on volunteer service is 18. 86 per hour. Through their collective volunteer service to these counties, rsvp volunteers saved those communities over 3 million. The agency continues to work to enhance the quality of life for senior citiizens and volunteers who make commitmetns to our communities.
through the enid mobile meals program, reaching our 123 recipients each weekday, they can now receive homebound book delivery, errand service to include housework and lawn service with snow/ice/tree removal, grocery shopping buddies, telephone buddies, transportation to and from doctors appointments, transportation to the senior center, homebound counseling services, second serving meals delivered any evening and weekend, and a handy man service- all for the same price of their original meal bill - 67 per month.
