RPLF visited Benue state , Nigeria in July 2018 for a week long medical outreach both in teaching and imparting more knowledge to Nigerian doctors to continue the work after their departure in addition to actual field work where hundreds of patients with several eye conditions from glaucoma, uveitis, allergies, foreign bodies, cataract, refractive errors were attended to with hundreds of reading glasses, sunshade glasses freely given out.
Procedures like gonioscopy, puncta plugs fitting and selective laser trabeculoplasty was taught to Nigerian doctors.
Their coming to Nigeria was a great blessing and the impact is still being felt till date. Many glaucoma patients got medications lasting for a whole year which was a great relief to them, in view of the high cost and prohibitive price for indigent and low income earners suffering from glaucoma abounding in the state.
Helping others see has been a life-long passion. To pass the opportunity and involve others in the ability to serve those in need in this way has been a blessing. RPLF meets an immediate need of so many people whose lives are improved with a pair of glasses - and a message of Hope. RPLF is also about teaching and training others, even health care providers, to provide better and more compassionate care. I have had the privilege of working with Dr Peplinski for a good number of years and was very comfortable with his work as well as his heart to help others even prior to traveling across this globe with his team to serve a people much less fortunate.
This nonprofit hits Dr P right where he lives. He is very skilled and knowledgeable in his field and has a huge desire to be led spiritually in order to allow doors to open that would otherwise be shut. When you lend yourself available to that calling and are willing to be obedient - these kind of people are a huge blessing to those they go to serve.
I had one of the best trips of my life with this group! It was a life-changing and refreshing experience. The P's created a supportive, loving group and the other students on the trip were also amazing. The result was an open and positive environment were we could share, support, and connect with each other. As an optometry student, this trip not only offered valuable hands-on experience through seeing underserved patients but also clinical experience. They also always travel to countries with underserved populations that have a need for increased access to eye care. Highly recommend Ret Pray Love and can't wait to do another trip with them!

Very good foundation. I had the opportunity of doing mission work with them at PR in 2019. They offer free vision exams to people on need at different countries, provide the opportunity of glasses plus eye medications to people in need, plus spread the gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ. Many people have come to know Jesus Christ through their work.
