Hi I'm living in Scotland. I had a younger brother who was suffering from lung cancer living on his own in Arizona. We had intended on bringing him home to care for him but the virus got in the way . We couldn't get over there and could not get Jim home we were frantic. Who was going to help him through the toughest time . We found bill berry dont ask me how I'm sure it was meant to be . He fought Jim's corner for us taking him to hospital, getting him into a hospice just being with him with absoluate care and support . Our minds were at least lighter that way.he would not die alone . He then looked after his cremation and gathered any personnel belongings and Jim's ashes and sent them to his family . How do you thank people like this . Amazing that's all.i can say . God bless .
This nonprofit has helped me and my family with furniture and items we needed. They helped us help after losing our housing. We were able to get a home and was able to get beds for our kids a kitchen table and living room furniture. We are eternally grateful for their generosity.
For over 22 years now I have volunteered at Resurrection serving those in need. From driving Veterans to providing a bottle of water it has been a real Joy being a part of this Blessed opportunity. "Caring for Our Neighbors" is RSM's Mission Statement and it is humbling to see 100's of people that reach out every day for help. Resurrection Street Ministry, S.T.U.F.F. Thrift Store, RSM Veteran Services, RSM Food Pantry, RSM Food Recovery and RSM Heat Relief Center have served more than 5 Million people over the years. What an honor to be part of this almost all (97%) team of servants.

Being a part of Resurrection Street Ministry as a full-time volunteer has been the most rewarding Ministry I have been a part of. What the Lord provides (millions of pounds of food and other things) for food-insecure people is truly a miracle and the hearts and dedication of all the volunteers is amazing. What a Blessing it is to help those in need. And now the city of Chandler has helped RSM obtain a mobile kitchen to go out and feed even more people. Praise the Lord.
I was looking for a way to give back in my retirement, when I seen an ad for a part time truck driver at RSM. I have been helping them out for three winters now, and am in awe every time I return to help out. The staff is working in an old building with older equipment and struggles every day with issues that would make most people want to quit. But they pull up there boot straps and forge forward in the name of "caring"! I am glad I can be a very small part in there efforts to help the needy!
I work with a lot of disabled veterans trying to get furniture for their apartment or new home and are given a real deal at RSM - the price is cut to the bone or it may actually be free. This is a true godsend for many veterans living on the edge and trying to make a fresh start. Thank you RSM and God bless !
I work at the food bank during Senior Citizen day and Veteran's day. RSM gives out a lot of food for people who can't afford it. I also work with them at Christmas time when they give out a huge amount of food bars to students who don't have anything to eat during the holidays. Toys are also given out and food boxes are delivered to a low income elementary school each month in Mesa, AZ. RSM does so much good for others that I highly recommend them.

I love RSM because the people involved are so helpful and ready to do anything for you. They have helped our lions club give to the Christmas Stocking project and our Christmas families by providing goodies and food, they give to the needy of the valley by providing food baskets and help the needy students in our schools by providing free breakfasts and school supplies. I don't know how we could help as many people as we do without the assistance of RSM. You rock!!!
I have been there and seen the work they are doing. It is God's work, and they are changing lives.

Wonderful community service, with rides, food, clothing, lots of support for those in need. This amazing group of people donate hundreds of hours each month helping others, from homeless, to older adults on a fixed income, to veterans who served our country. They partner with government agencies to be available to all, and this year have opened the only 24 hour cooling center for the community to get out of the heat of the day.
RSM is a wonderful nonprofit. They are always available to help those in need. Food, clothing, furniture - RSM goes above and beyond to help those in the Mesa/Phoenix area.
Resurrection Street Ministry is such a valuable member of the nonprofit community in Arizona. Through their work with partner organizations, including the one I work for, they provide such valuable to services to people in need in the Mesa / Phoenix area. I am honored to work with them to help address food insecurity among some of the most at-risk populations in the Valley.

Through my work with Musically Fed, I have had the pleasure of getting to know Bill and his team at Resurrection Street Ministry over the past year and a half. They are truly passionate about their mission of caring for their neighbors and do so much for the homeless, veteran, senior citizen, and low income communities.
Bill's kindness and generosity shines through each time I interact with him and it's so obvious that he and his organization truly care for the people they serve. I am honored to have a working relationship with them.
I have been with Resurrection Street Ministry Food Pantry 4 years now. After being injured at my job, they sent me here during my interim before surgery and after surgery. They welcomed me with open arms and I became a part of the RSM family. RSM is such a huge help to the community. With Food Pantries in Mesa and Chandler and senior or Veteran food deliveries as far as Apache Junction, Gilbert, Chandler and many more.
RSM truly does help its neighbors, from food to household items and clothing.

I am into my 3rd year volunteering with RSM and this past year has really been a challenge. Since Covid so many people were out of work and in serious need of nutritious meals. RSM really stepped it up and made sure that anyone that wanted or needed food was taken care of. They even added more senior parks to have food delivered to. With Covid so many seniors were housebound afraid to go to the grocery store this is where RSM really took charge and made sure that they got food delivered directly to their homes.
RSM also does so much for the Veterans and the communities in the area. From helping to set up homes with much needed items to cooking for volunteers that beautify the many neighborhoods in the area. They are truely some very special people there.
Bill Berry of RSM is a warm and very caring individual. He would do anything to help an individual in need. At RSM, Bill changes the lives of numerous on a daily basis finding out what is needed and how he can supply it through RSM to make the person's life better and more enjoyable.

RSM is the missing link for a lot of the east valley people. It is always there to fill the need no matter if it's food for the disabled veterans, senior citizens, needy or school age children. They provide backpacks and school supplies for many needy children in school. RSM doesn't know the meaning of can't. If they are asked to help in numerous manners they always find a way to help out whether it's the youth, senior citizens or disabled people the answer is always yes.
My only experience with this Non-Profit Ministry is as a (minor) donor - I'm amazed at the variety of assistance they service: they truly believe in 'Caring for Neighbors', and several of the 'neighbors' they service that would be at the top of my list: Veterans and homeless. They truly are an 'A to Z' ministry.
Their leadership is 5-star: Bill is an amazing individual, truly an all-caring person who knows everyone as a friend! He is a 'guardian angel' in disguise.
I feel blessed to have the opportunity to write a review.
LOVE RSM!!! Great staff and they care so deeply for the community. It is always a pleasure shopping there. When I worked in Mesa I referred lots of people to them and I always got good reports back about thier experience. One Veteran in particular needed a walker as he had a stroke and RSM totally hooked him up! I can’t say enough positive things a about this organization.
I have worked with Bill and his team for three years and am so impressed with what they are able to do to serve so many. Bill and his team are tireless at striving to take care of those in need and one of my fondest memories is during a Senior Tuesday event, Bill and his team had put together a birthday celebration for one of their clients that was turning 100. Not only did she get a crown, royal cake and other goodies, but a brand new wheel chair!
Bill and his crew stepped up in no time when he heard we were trying to feed our colleagues in the music industry . The gig workers: sound and lights, fork lift drivers, stage hands,,,they were and are in need. 42 car drive throughs later, thanks to Resurrection Street Ministry 50,000 meals were provided to those in need. We at Musically Fed are so very grateful to Bill and his team for their unbelievable support. Add to that, he has taught me and our team so much!
The Valley’s only daily food bank and clothing pantry! This place feeds and clothes over 5000 of our less fortunate neighbors every month!
The thrift store is loaded with the best inventory, all proceeds go directly to improve the lives of those in need!

Have known the founder for over 20 years. Have found that he is totally committed to helping others in any way possible. This organization fills needs (food, clothing, etc) in areas where no one else helps. Also gives “work experience” to those in recovery that help at the store and food bank. Great Organization.

I had job interview and didn't have a clue what wear, I walked in stuff thrift store in mesa and I asked this lady wearing a Santa claus suit and a beard. She found me a suit that was brand new, shoes, tie, dress shirt and socks. I did get the job and was definitely dressed for the position of office manager. I don't know her name but she was a great help.
I love stopping at this thrift store! They get such a variety of merchandise weekly you never leave empty handed!

My favorite store to shop!!
I always enjoy shopping at S.T.U.F.F Thrift Store. I have found beautiful and functional patio umbrellas and much more at very reasonable prices. The store is clean and well organized and the staff is friendly and helpful.
Hi my name is Sheryl , I Have been volunteering for RMS for several years now. The reason I continue to volunteer for RMS is their genuine desire to give back to the community, and provide for those in need in every way they can. Their dedication to the work their doing is self sacrificing, and relentless. Every person at RMS has a true heart to help. I am Director of a Ministry that helps the homeless and those in need, part of our developmental program is to teach the to give back as the have been given. So we support RMS because i believe their purpose is one of the few non profits the keep and express the desire to help with out personal gain , Its inspiring
This place is like growing up again the customer service here is genuine when I walk in it feels like I went into a time warp because it feels like home the things they have are things that are long forgotten but are still great to have the sharing of the food to those that are in need is a blessing to us all and then I see the up to date things at that point I realize this is where I am supposed to be...
Great place to volunteer. I am a student and this gives me a break from school. The staff members are a great group to work with. Great prices for clothing, furniture, appliances, electronics, glassware, toys, etc.

It’s wonderful how these people come together for the community. I love how they offer the food bank, and even more how friendly they are. I am very thankful for this organization.
This organization is great! They have food available for anyone Monday-Friday 10am-3pm. Always willing to help anyone in need.
The people who work here are super friendly and helpful. It is a fun place to shop and work. It is kept clean and neat. Improvements/changes are often made. There is always foodstuff at the front of the store for a free help yourself service. The commodities are nutritious. It is always fun to see what will be there. Prices are reasonable on the items for sale. Clothing and other things are clean and neat. It is convenient to my home so I can go there often. I have volunteered there in the past and found it a pleasant atmosphere to be in. Thanks for a job well done.

I was extremely impressed with how passionate they were about helping others. Any time I’m there I see how much they are truly helping the community. The staff is amazing and they truly inspire you to want to make a difference and help others!
While volunteering there I immediately noticed everyone’s passion for making a difference. They really get quality food to those in need on a weekly basis. They care for anyone struggling financially they even have special days that seniors and veterans can find essential items available for free. They are gracious and happy to help anyone struggling financial. I witness them giving many homeless individual clothes and or shoes from the store. Word can not describe this blessing.
It’s been a pleasure volunteer here and I am thankful for all the big hearts and hard workIng people I met. Keep up the awesome work everyone. Valerie, Dave, Dan, Bill, Lucky and all the volunteers. Thank you!
They are wonderful! They have a wonderful purpose. I love that they provide help to those who need it
Resurrection Street Ministry is doing a fabulous job in provided needed food to the homeless, low income people, and our seniors. Their staff is very dedicated and they take their responsibilities very seriously. Yet you can see that they enjoy serving others and meeting the needs of others. And they supersize their impact and reach through their vast network of volunteers. They are experts at engage their volunteers and getting them actively involving in the packing and delivery or food, but also in interacting with the public. There is an old quote, "People don't care how much you know, until the know how much you care." Resurrection Street Ministry truly has God in their hearts, as they minister to the vulnerable people in the greater Mesa area, in a caring and loving way.
I have volunteered at RSM for about 2 years now and have found that they are are an incredibly caring place to work. Everyone is like family, which in my case was recently tested. My husband passed away 15 days ago and all of my family is out of state. Had it not been for the love and kindness of my co-volunteers I don't think that I could have made it through. It isn't just me either, they show the same love and respect for any and all that come to RSM. I can't even imagine volunteering anywhere else. They are by far the best ever!
As a veteran I am been honored to volunteer for the past 3 years serving those in need. We provide medical transport for our veterans as well as equipment, furniture, or clothing. Also food for our local community is offered over 10 days each month. Knowing that our neighbors will not go hungry puts joy in our hearts
Resurrection Street Ministry has helped thousand of people achieve an improved quality of life thanks to the efforts of the volunteers and staff that serve selflessly.
RSM also does so much for our veterans through the Disabled American Veterans organization and also seniors.
I'm humbled to be one of the volunteers and am so glad to help those in need.
Today was my first experience with them at STUFF Thrift store. Let me just say they made it a very pleasant and smooth experience. They were very kind, helpful, and generous. My family was provided with nutritious foods we can actually eat. We will definitely be coming back in the future. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
This place has an incredible mission and the workers there truly care! They make a real effort to make a positive difference in the community!
What an amazing ministry! Every single volunteer is unbelievably kind and caring. It shows in the services provided to those less fortunate. All are treated with compassion and thoughtfulness no matter what tribulations they are going through. Probably the best experience I’ve had in Arizona when it comes to providing hope and essential items for people in need. ❤️
This non profit organization is awesome! The people are truly so kind, and do all of this work from the kindness of their heart!
Would 10/10 recommend!
