Causes: Homeless & Housing, Temporary Housing
Mission: To form, organize, operate and maintain a community based, supervised, and oriented program to assist women suffering from addiction and promoting their return to a productive and useful role in society.
Programs: Maintained 4 half-way group homes, housing 24 transitional residents at a time to transition those desiring to be free of their addiction back into a drug-free environment as a functional member of society with a job that can support themselves and their families. Educate and raise public awareness of the addiction problem of alcohol, methamphetamines and other drugs through the use of open meetings, tv/radio/print media, presentations to civic clubs involvement and job creation with local business and industry. Interviewed and evaluated the spouse and children of half-way home residents for physical, emotional, financial and educational needs. Provided what assistance we could and referred to local service organizations for additional assistance as needed.
