In 2017, response received 260 calls on its 24-hour crisis helpline, worked with 128 new victims of domestic violence and sexual assault survivors, and helped 105 clients with safety planning and protection orders. In addition, 21 survivors received immigration services to help them remain in our community

public awareness: in 2017 response hosted or participated in 82 outreach and awareness raising events in businesses and in the community. We also launched the "raising the bar" bystander intervention program to help restaurant and bar staff to recognize and intervene in unsafe dating situations.

school-based violence prevention education: in 2017, response program staff talked to more than 500 high-school and middle-school students at every middle and high school from aspen to basalt about bullying, teen-dating violence, cyber abuse, sexual consent, media literacy, general stereotypes and characteristics of healthy relationships.
