It has been a blessing to partner with Resource Health since the early 2000's. I am impressed with the innovative thinking, high ethical standards, and great leadership, staff and volunteers. Most importantly it is amazing to see the way they love on people in our community who are experiencing unplanned circumstances.
I was first introduced to the ministry of Resource Health in 2010 and made a small investment. I attended another event in 2011 and was completely captured for the work that Resource Health provides in our community. From volunteering at the end of 2011 to becoming a staff member in 2012 and serving on the board as Corporate Secretary in 2016, I am still all in for this amazing nonprofit. I am confident that they are wise stewards of my investment and that lives are being saved and changed.
I've been a supporter of Resource Health Services (Rachel House) for over 15 years. Their work in helping women and men with unplanned pregnancies has been amazing. I've served on the Board of Directors for since 2017. In the last several years, a Fatherhood program was developed to reach out to men. The results have been very encouraging to men attending the class and to those who help lead/teach it.
Resource Health Services has been aiding women and men facing unplanned pregnancies for over 30 years. Their professional staff provides care and compassion through education, testing, ultrasounds, and encouragement. Four physical locations are located in the Kansas City Metro area including: Independence, Kansas City, Kansas City North, and Lee's Summit. A fifth "virtual center" will soon be launched.
Over a year ago, STD testing and treatment was begun to further aid those in a medical crisis situation.
Resource Health Services continues to be a strong advocate for the lives of their clients and staff through ongoing compassion, care, and education.
I have served both as a volunteer and as a Board member of Resource Health over the past several years. I am also a professional and have worked in the non-profit field for 35-plus years.
I have been consistently impressed with the dedication and professionalism of the team at Resource Health - from the volunteers and workers in our various centers to the Board level as well. There is a commitment and energy to deliver services in a Biblically-sound, ethical, legal and professional manner that puts the client and her/his family first. The Board of Directors, itself equipped with professionals in complimentary professions that help with oversight of the agency, also invests in assuring that the work of Resource Health goes forward with compassion and excellence.
I’ve served on this board for the past six years and I believe that this organization and the way that run is absolutely top notch, from a professional standpoint, from an organizational standpoint, from an operational standpoint and, more importantly, from the service to those in need standpoint.
In my years of service on a variety of boards, I’ve never seen one is ran as well and provides as good of service as Resource Health does.
