Programs: The Resource Exchange offers a variety of programs that cover the entire life cycle for people with developmental disabilities. Early Intervention and Children’s Extensive Support help the youngest children and youth with a variety of services depending on their level of disability, ranging from speech and physical therapy to 24-hour care. Family Support assists families caring for a loved one with a developmental disability. Break Time is a respite program for families to entrust their high-needs children with professional caregivers so they may experience a break from the intensive demands of caring for a child with special needs. Supported Living Services help adults living on their own, while Comprehensive Services provide more supervision in a person’s daily life. All programs and services of The Resource Exchange contain elements of Community Coordination, or case management, to help enhance people’s lives and build independence.
