Joe Panzarella has recently stated that he and Big Ant have retired so there is no longer any Rescue Ink. The Facebook site is still there and you can read it yourself. This is great as they haven't done any rescues in years and according to their 2011 tax return, only 6% of their $30,000 declared income went to the animals when they state 100% of donations go to the animals. They are under numerous investigations and are nothing but thieves, scammers, and liars. Good riddance.

This non profit is currently requesting donations for rent. They are not charged rent by the City of Long Beach. This is unethical. They should be reported.

Rescue Ink is a legit rescue group..They take the cases no one else will touch. The have a different approach then most groups and that's it.. The work they do is great, I've been down to the shelter quite a few times and there are a lot of animals there, not just dogs and cats but on one account there were chickens that they rescued. They also try to help people that are trying to do right by the animals by building dog houses and dropping them off to the people etc. If half the people opened there eyes and looked past there looks you would be able to see the good there doing for the animals that don't have a voice of there own...I 100% support this group there hearts are in the right place and THATS what counts!!!!
