I have had the pleasure of knowing Lisa for several years and follow her activities as I am involved in the breeding and racing industry. My first dealings with Lisa and Rerun were several years ago. A partnership I was involved with had sent a retired race horse to her establishment. I immediately called her and she was happy to put me in touch with the person who adopted him. A year later his first adopter had let Lisa and I know that he was being sold to a young teenage girl who was training him the finer points of the hunt in Virginia, again I was put in touch with the new owner and shortly thereafter, I received an e-mail and picture of my Thoroughbred with his new owner and his forever home. I was invited for a visit and met the family and got to see firsthand what can be done by the careful placement of retired race horses. I have been involved with Lisa at many of her fund raising events and she as well as her staff work endlessly to make them a success. Visiting her stables throughout the year, as they are always open to the public, you will find them clean, the horses shining and a general feeling of well being thought-out the entire stable.
We have a home daycare and we also tutor kids in the afternoon we have land. But we are having a hard time trying to get the bank to loan us money to build our center to help the kids in our neighborhood. We are loosing our black youth left and right. I wish I could say this place is amazing, but after my experience I could not and will not. I returned a my mare Goosarella after 3yrs to be retired due to kissing spine. I did not know that only a few months later she would be shipped out of state to be flipped not even 30 days later. Not even under the rerun name. I'm heartbroken, I let her down by giving her back to this nightmare. If I would have know this would happen I 1000% would have never even considered bringing her back. Now that I'm speaking out about this horrible wrong doing, I'm being bullied and threatened by the Program Director. Who's job is to protect these horses not just flip them for profit.

This horse ultimately was evaluated by no less than 5 different vet practices including one of the leading orthopedic surgeons in the country and one of the leading teaching vet schools and was deemed not to have kissing spine. The horse has been placed in a new home, all records went with the horse and they are aware of the prior adopter's posts. The mare is excelling in her new home and they are delighted with her. Due to the relentless harassment by the prior adopter, we had to file a police report and retain and attorney due to false and erroneous posts including the one above.
I've adopted 6 horses from Rerun over the course of the last decade. Each one has been exactly as described. Their support after the adoption has been amazing. This organization definitely loves what they do helping racehorses find their next careers
I have been lucky enough to have several horses come to my stable from Rerun in the past 5-6 years. Every time it has been a huge success, dealing with Rerun& Lisa couldn’t have been any easier.We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful operation making these horses available to horse people who can bring them into their second career and more importantly for them to have caring homes . OTTB’s are now becoming widely accepted as potentially all round talented & sensible horses. ReRun is the ultimate adoption connection for the rider who wants to be matched with a capable sport horse but might not have unlimited funds. The honesty of the director is refreshing, and the quality of the adoptable horses is unequaled. I have been involved with multiple adoptions from ReRun over the past 5 years. Just wonderful horses. I could go on and on. I’m looking forward to a trip to ReRun next month with my 4-H club to share this fabulous place with more potential adopters. I adopted my first Rerun horse in 2018 who is now competing succesfully in the 1.0M jumpers with the goal to get to 1.20M. I recently adopted my second Rerun horse May of 2022 who has been enjoying some well deserved let down period. I have had a wonderful experience adopting through Rerun. They have been honest about what they know of their horses and stand by them. They have always put the care of their horses first and do right by them by finding the perfect home for them, and should something change in the home situation, they continue to support the horses that came through their program by finding their adoptees new well deserving homes. I highy recommend ReRun!!!!!!
ReRun is the very definition of what a Thoroughbred Rescue is! Where the horses come first always. Knowledgeable Professional quality horsemanship and has the experience to back it up. Proper attention to feeding farrier vet care. Clean modern well kept maintained facility . Total transparency when a horse is adopted out and care is taken to insure horse is a good fit with adoptee. ReRun is scrupulous in checking the Adopters can provide adequate after care. There is no other Thoroughbred Rescue who matches them.
Rerun is a great nonprofit all the horses there are very well taken care of and all get adopted to loving homes. The barn is always very well kept. The staff there cares very much about the horses and their needs. Overall it’s a great place to adopt your forever horse and start a new chapter in their lives. I always recommend rerun to people who are looking for a horse.
Re-Run has given me the best friend I have been yearning for for the last 6 years. Nothing but beautiful and healthy thoroughbreds. I love all of my dragons! ❤️

The horses in her care get the best of everything, Lisa and her staff are knowledgeable and approachable and everything done is in the horses' best interests. This is the ONLY facility that I have absolute faith in, and wouldnt hesitate to take on a horse sight unseen.

The organization is run by a hard working group of individuals who care for and find new homes and second careers for ex-racehorses. They are passionate and knowledgeable and the best group of folks to work with!
Cannot say enough good things about Rerun!! I initially went to work at Rerun during a break from college and ended up becoming an adopter very quickly. It is run beautifully and the horses are some of the sweetest because of the great care and love they receive. Love my Rerun thoroughbred
I have obtained 7 horses total from Rerun! Lisa has helped us pick out most of them. We competed in the Thoroughbred makeover two years running with 3 of those horses and had great results! All of the horses from Rerun have not been anything short of perfect! Lisa has quality thoroughbreds!!
I have adopted three horses from ReRun and have a client that has adopted one. My HMan (Connor) ran 71 times, Lisa Molloy told me he was a really cool horse. She hit the nail on the head. He is kind, personable, so so talented, a true representation of the breed. the process was very straight forward and easy to work with. Had assistance with shipping and the horses all arrived in good shape with proper paperwork and were EXACTLY as represented. Kudos to Lisa and her staff for continuing to provide wonderful horses an outlet with experienced people.
