Mission: To provide services to all women and men who choose to create or expand their families through donor insemination and sperm storage. Provides education and resources on donor insemination and fertility options. To promote openness, our donor identity release program allows each child, at age eighteen, to learn the identity of his or her donor. To enhance social understanding and to inform industry practices, conducts research on the psychosocial implications of donor insemination.
Programs: Semen sales: in 2016 we sold 1672 vials from our program donors to assist women/couples in achieving pregnancy. Over 240 conceptions were reported in 2016 and there were 233 live births.
health education & research: in 2016, 328 recipients registered with us and were provided health education related to fertility and achieving pregnancy through donor insemination. Outreach: research on psycho-social outcomes in donor-conception conducted in 2013-2016 has resulted in four published articles in 2016 and 2 in 2017.
cryo program: in 2016, we provided sperm processing and storage services to 23 directed/known donors and 148 client depositors who stored 248 and 437 vials respectively.
