Mission: Remi vista, inc. Is a private, nonprofit organization that provides therapeutic behavioral services for youth and families who have either been placed in out-of-home care, or who are considered to be at risk for such placement. Remi is licensed by the california department of social services to provide foster care, residential care, and transitional housing placement. Remi also contracts as an organizational provider of specialty mental health services for various counties in california and as an organizational provider to regional centers for supported living services, assertive community treatment, and other community services.
Programs: Mental health services include psychological evaluations, assessment, individual and group therapy, rehabilitation services, crisis intervention, case management, plan development and therapeutic behavioral services to participants in various counties throughout northern california. During the period covered, 28,931 hours of care was provided.
the residential care program operates two licensed group homes in shasta county, which provides specialized residential services for boys, ages 14 to 18 years. During the period covered, 3,941 days of care was provided and 21 clients were served.
the foster care program provides foster care services to children in several counties in northern california. During the period covered, 12,598 days of care was provided and 93 children were served.
supported living program enables developmentally disabled adults to receive the daily support they need to live in their own apartment or home. The broad goal of the program is to enhance the quality of life for each individual by facilitating his/her ability to communicate, pursue interests and a lifestyle that is reflective of his/her personal routines and values. Community integration, building natural supports, and interdependence with community members and services become part of the natural rhythm of their daily living. During the period covered, 40 adults were served. The residential program, through far northern regional center, operates three licensed homes in shasta county, which provides specialized residential services for developmentally disabled children and youth. 4,591 days of service was provided to 20 clients.
