I've been a patient of Karen Fleming's for years I've since moved and have relocated in my bro but again I still keep her as my doctor and forever will be above and beyond the rest I can't tell you how many times to diagnose me with cancer to help me have weight loss surgery and she's been there ever since
A couple of criteria that I like to use in evaluating non-profits is "how do they treat the donors" ? and secondly, "how do they treat the vendors to whom they hire, to help raise awareness or donations " ?
On theses notes, Reliant scores very high for both the integrity and the courteous nature in which we have been treated.
Reliant has hired our company to provide services and receive fair value as well as to simply request a donation. They are prudent & astute buyers who simply work towards getting great value and great service for the dollars that are invested. They seek to raise funds for their foundation is a faire and thoughtful way and I can only assume that this level of integrity carries throughout their entire culture. Well, done, Reliant !
I give to Reliant Foundation because I know my gifts help those in need right here in my community, Central Massachusetts. The Foundation's mission is to promote health and wellness, with a special emphasis on battling childhood obesity. They do this through funding many after-school fitness, recreation and healthy snack programs at non-profits throughout the area. It makes me feel good to know that my donations help children in need to have a place to go after school where they can have a nutritious snack and participate in a variety of fitness activities. Having fun and healthy supervised programming for children is vital to their overall health and development.
Reliant Foundation is a wonderful cause to volunteer for. I recently helped out at their inaugural 5K event in October and thought it was very well run. I liked the fact that the charity and the event were promoting health and encouraging good nutrition, physical fitness and healthy living. It was a great day and a good cause to get behind.
