Mission: Refuge of hope ministries was established to provide emergency shelter for homeless men, meals for the hungry and spiritual hope through jesus christ in the greater canton area. The organization provides nightly shelter to homeless men in the canton area 365 days a year. The organization's meal ministry provides hot meals to those in need, serving five dinners and two lunches weekly. Breakfast and lunch is served daily to the sheltered men. The organization also runs a community awareness program to provide information to help the community gain an understanding of the physical and emotional needs of homeless individuals, and to partner with others in the community to help move individuals toward self-respect and self-sufficiency.
