The staff of Refuge House and the parternerships they have with others in the community to serve families such as mind is wonderful. Without their help and the parternerships they have in collaborating for services to help me and my family to be protected,safety,shelter, spiritually,food,counseling,living normally as possible have helped me to not give up. Without support I most likely would be another statistic...What they do is not an easy task, what they do is very much needed. I greatley appreciate what they are doing, have done for me.

Mission: The mission of the refuge house is to provide direct services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, and to their children and families, as well as to eliminate such violence through community education and public advocacy.
Programs: The refuge house provided emergency shelter (383), transitional housing (33), counseling services (548), and hotline support (2,499) to survivors of domestic violence, their children, and families.
the refuge house provided sexual violence prevention and services such as 24 hour crisis response (157), counseling services (696), and hotline support (557) to survivors of sexual violence, their children, and families. The refuge house also developed community collaborations with law enforcement, hospitals and other partners to increase services to victims, community education, and prevention in eight counties in florida.
the refuge house provided coordinated services to 220 children in our shelter, transitional, outreach, and childcare programs.
