Is developing a documentary exploring the musical culture of cuba and the work of the non-profit organization horns to havana, which is dedicated to instrument donation, repair, training, and education through cultural exchange between cuba and the united states.

shot:telling pictures has completed two major shoots with photographer kathy shorr - one two day shoot with three gunshot survivors in memphis, tn and a one day shoot in south dakota with a native american survivor. After conversations with several potential funders, a frank assessment of the impact of recent gun violence documentaries, and additional research into potential characters for shot, based on individuals portrayed by photographer kathy shorr, we have decided to include animation as a creative element in the film. Edgeworx studios has created a one minute animated segment that we have added to our trailer to serve as a "proof of concept. " we are also in the process of writing a new treatment for the film that would incorporate animation, along with live action scenes already shot and to be shot, as a major element in a number of the interwoven portraits of gunshot survivors that will comprise the finished film.
