This rescue helped a horse names Poppy, she was covered in cancer. They purchased her at an auction to give her a loving ending that she deserved. I hope Jessica knows we appreciate all she does for the animals
Negative stars! This alleged rescue is a starvation camp. Numerous animals were severely starved and neglected at ROAR. Several horses and donkeys did not make it out alive and suffered cruel, prolonged deaths. The Sheriff DID warn Jessica that if she did not help the animals she would be criminally charged for animal cruelty. She had to get rid of her "rescued" animals quickly to avoid criminal charges, so she sold 80 of them for a whopping $25.00 total for all 80 animals so she could dodge criminal charges. No "legitimate" nonprofit would ever do that! Many of the horses and donkeys were run back through auction for profit. This woman STARVED horses and donkeys and laughed about it like it was some kind of joke!
its very sad this rescue has been attacked, people would rather get the "facts" from social media then talk directly to her she is doing a fantastic job with the animals
Jessica Moreland of ROAR was very irresponsible, allowed intact stallions and mares into the same pasture, they bred, there have been over a dozen baby horses born, baby donkeys as well. Responsible rescues should never allow breeding. This organization has very little horse knowledge or experience and no where near the needed resources to help the overpopulation on their land.
Online research lays all the facts out. This rescue is irresponsible and, in my opinion, not a good choice to support. Be careful before donating to Jessica Moreland, she seems to spend more money on her fingernails than horse food.

Love this rescue! They provide a home for wild mustangs, a place they get to be themselves and be free
Lovely rescue that is newer but is trying hard with limited resources, Jessica seems to be determined and I hope to see some great things form this rescue in the future
Many lies have been spread about this rescue yet Jessica continues to help animals. It should be about us working all together for the animals not trying to destroy a woman's life because you don't like her
Thank you for continuing to help the animals and not giving up
This little one is my favorite. He is so cute! The animals love Jessica and ages doing a fantastic job after all the drama and everything that has happened. I'm happy to support this rescue and help the animals after all that is what it's about the animals.
Jessica is taking good care of the babies at the rescue. They look happy and healthy and get to live together
This rescue has been through so much, she has made issues and made mistakes but she has learned and is helping many animals
Bless her
Unfortunately this rescues founder has been under attack and people have been putting hurting her over the welfare of the animals. Jessica is a warrior dealing with all the drama. She loves the animals and works hard to care for them dispite those trying to stop donations and hurt the animals
No transparency from ROAR's Founder She is combative and rude regarding most questions directed at her foundation and any animals in her care. Many horses and donkeys whereabouts are unknown, animals that Founder fundraiser for, and then seemingly sold (60+ total animals) for $25. Many of those animals wound up at auctions, having been purchased for $25 TOTAL (that's about $0.31 PER ANIMAL) by another individual. The Bill of Sale is viewable to the public. Founder used her 501c status to raise $$ for animals, then sold them to be auctioned off.
This is not Rescue. This smells far too much like a money-grab/scam, with multiple people potentially involved. I will not be supporting Red Orchard Animal Sanctuary due to lack of transparency and what I believe is a complete misappropriation of donation funds.
I hope the IRS is passing attention.

She starves and neglects the animals to the point that the Sheriff told her if she didn't help the horses, she would be criminally charged for animal cruelty. I wish I could give her negative stars! The one pictured here is one of the lucky ones that made it out alive.

Zero stars for the founder! She starves and abuses animals. The pictures speak for themselves. Do your research Facebook has lots of proof

Jessica’s determination towards the work is amazing. She made sure to let me know my donations reach the animals properly with proof
I wish 0 was an option! I support many rescues, when I heard the stories about R.O.A.R. animals starving, sending animals back to auction, having stallions and sketchy practices I chose to look at her post and make a decision from there. I read posts of how the founder was threatening to send donkeys to auction, her admitting to having a raffle and not awarding the prize and not returning the money for the tickets. I read in her post she rehomed a horse she was not to and was taken to court. The outcome was her being charged and ordered to pay for the horse. She ask her supporters to help pay her fine. There is way too much to type in this. She is starting to take down post from the past she indicated herself in. I have never seen so much manipulation in my life. People make mistakes but we should learn from them. How can she be having so many babies??? Either she hasn’t learned her lesson and continues to take in horses without having resources or the stallion band she had posted are now dads!! What kind of rescue sales 80 head of horses for $25? She had to know their fate!

This supposed rescue had their animals removed due to horrific neglect, Starvation. However they then "sold" those removed horses to a close friend and the horses had to be turned over to her. She then took them to auction at a slaughter pipeline outlet after removing the mare's foals from their sides. A number of horses vanished that donors "paid" to save. It is unbelievable she is operating again. You can find the horses stories that were saved from auction from the rescues/sanctuaries that saved them after ROAR's horrible treatment
Roar helps animals in need. When they can’t physically help the animals they do whatever they are able to help them
Red Orchard Animal Rescue Jessica's commitment to providing a safe, loving environment for animals in need is truly remarkable.
This animal rescue puts their heart and soul into the animals. They face and overcome challenges every day and continue to grow their knowledge and experience. I’ve personally witnessed the work put into providing their animals’ care on a limited budget. I can only imagine what they can accomplish as they grow.
What can I say, these ppl ask for so little Yat do so much. I can honesty say these people have a heart of gold.
This charity has helped many animals and continues to fight even after they were treated unfairly. Please consider helping this small rescue
This rescue has helped the sweetest donkey named Chip who was born with deformities. He lives there with him mom Nestle. They are giving Chip a chance at a peaceful live.
This rescue took in several puppies and helped find them homes. They had tried to help with other animals but we not able to they did try. Puppies had wonderful hikes and I even Got updates
