Mission: Red oak hope is an organization dedicated to bringing freedom, hope & restoration to women & children affected by the sex industry. We work to stop the trafficking of humans on a large scale while simultaneously providing holistic care to those already affected by the sex trade.
Target demographics: survivors of sexual exploitation
Direct beneficiaries per year: 118 women and children, 2137 nights of safe shelter, 1121 hours of theraputic services, and 1005 hours of case management.
Geographic areas served: Austin, Uganda, and Asia
Programs: education, economic empowerment, family preservation, awareness, training officials, and prosecution of perpetrators. We work to create a specific intervention plan for every individual including safe shelter, food, medical care, immigration services, counseling, and repatriation. We work towards long-term restoration and sustainability by providing transitional housing, vocational training, holistic care, and long-term counseling.
