Mission: Reduce overpopulation, homelessness, disease and malnutrition of companion animals on the red lake indian reservation and surrounding area of northern minnesota.
Programs: Rescue, shelter and place homeless and abused dogs and cats from the red lake reservation and surrounding area to various rescues statewide and regionally. 815 animals were rescued and transferred in 2017.
organize & coordinate free neuter/spay clinics through mn spay/neuter assistance project and act v rescue & rehabilitation. In 2017, three clinics served the red lake indian reservation and three were held on the white earth reservation. 600 animals were neutered/spayed.
providing foster homes and pet adoption services for the organization's rescued animals. The metro support team provides for tabling events, fundraising, and hosts quarterly meetings to solicit more volunteers in the metro area.
