I have been involved as a volunteer with this organization for the last 6 years because they do so much with so little. because of their support from volunteers and sponsors, they can turn $1 into over $4 of goods and services for those in need. They help do repair services to homes for those that are no longer able due to age, disability or unforseen circumstances. How many charities can you think of that multiply the donations rather than provide only a small percentage of the donation to the cause. I can't think of any! Great cause, committed leadership, outstanding contributor to the community.

Mission: Bring volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of low-income homeowners.
Programs: Repairs and modifications were made for over 1,200 homes for neighbors in need with the help of 10,900 volunteers donating over 108,000 hours of time. Work done included access ramps, grab bars, electrical, heating, weatherization, plumbing, floor and roof repairs, and painting.
