Causes: Community Service Clubs, Home Improvement & Repairs, Homeless & Housing, Housing & Shelter, Housing Rehabilitation
Mission: Home repair programs: rehabilitate homes of low income elderly and disabled citizens with crews of volunteers. Installed wheel chair ramps, porches, grab bars, painted exteriors, provided weatherization services and made minor home repairs. Networked with other community organizations to obtain services needed by the homeowners. Recruited and supervised volunteer work crews.
Programs: Worked on a total of 12 different houses, the veterans of foreign wars facility and an american legion facility for a total of approximately 1,000 people served.
