Mission: To inspire people to value and discover existing resources to strengthen the social and environmental vitality of communities. Community is at the heart of our mission, materials are the means. How we serve the community is as diverse as the community we aim to serve.
Target demographics: build community through reuse
Direct beneficiaries per year: 225 grassroots projects (by donating materials) that helped house the homeless, repair low-income living spaces, provide fresh food to elders and children, support art and culture, rescue animals, honor veterans, and assist disabled and disadvantaged individuals.
Geographic areas served: Portland, OR
Programs: We leverage our space, people, materials, and resources to support community-owned actions for a more sustainable and equitable Portland.
