I attended Real Life Ministries on the North Side for a relatively short period of time or about four months. I noticed when I first went there the sincere intentional interest in new people. The first day I was greeted within five minutes of walking in and introduced to one of the pastors. I ended up having a coffee that week with one of the pastors who got to know me. Within three weeks I was plugged into a real-life group interested in real connections and relational growth. I was also helping run the lights, which is something I wanted to do and not something I was pressured into doing. For me, being involved with a Biblically-based, God-focused, caring church was wonderful. I admittedly did not always care for every worship song, but that is something I work through with any church I attend. That is also an area where God has helped me look at my own heart. I left the church because of moving overseas and have only positive things to say about my time there.
