ReadyFest is amazing! The community involvement and outreach is unsurpassed. The amount of children that are helped and ready for the school year warms my heart. Great job, ReadyFest crew!
Ready Fest is for every student & family in Shelby County. We served 1,098 students in 2023, with students from every Shelby County school attending.
My children get excited for this every year. It is a huge help because it gets expensive to get everything they need to go back to school.
I have three children that go to school in Shelby County, and Ready Fest is a Godsend for my family! It has always been a struggle to make sure everyones got all the school supplies they need, new clothes, and all the dentist and doctor oks to start. ReadyFest has made this so easy. Truly a blessing.
Ready Fest is always a wonderful time in our county for our school children. My husband and I are raising grandchildren and needed school supplies. Ready Fest came thru for us. We also received free hair cuts, dental exam, eye exam and other services that helped with the transition for our grandchildren. They are looking forward to this event again.
Amazing organization. The supplies and clothing they supplied for my daughter at the beginning of the school year so helpful and generous. I can't tell you how much of a difference it made. I'm so thankful for the people who make this possible.
I have been volunteering with Ready Fest for three years now, and it is one of the best experiences I have ever had in serving my community. These school kids are so happy to receive all of their school supplies, along with a back pack, laundry detergent, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrushes, clothing, shoes, socks, underwear, and everything else that they need to get ready for school. The kids leave Ready Fest actually looking forward to school starting!
