Razoo

While this platform has a UI that seems clunky, I’ve only utilized one other platform, so I’ll refrain from criticizing based on usability. However, my board begged me to find another platform. Why we will never use Razoo again? The practice of adding “Tips” to every donor’s gift before checkout. Razoo automatically adds an “optional” tip of ~15% to every gift. But, it is VERY difficult and not obvious how to eliminate this “Tip.” This practice is, at best, sneaky, but in my opinion – WHOLLY UNETHICAL. Just check it out yourself, go to any campaign and go through the donation process and see for yourself.

I love any opportunity to connect with our donors, but their incessant complaints about our crowd-funding platform is not an opportunity we want. Choosing Razoo has reflected poorly on me, my staff and our organization.

This charity isn't fully comparable with Mac devices, I have an ipad and can't sign up. I got through days later and actually spoke to the same lady in the pic according to the name she gave me. The conversation turned really salty, the tone used and repeating sentences. I couldn't express my concern fully. I can see why its probably a one man show or one woman show down there. The other reviews you see were probably paid for and written by an agency

In my experience as a nonprofit executive director, Razoo has proved to provide quality, reliable, and affordable online giving services to our organization. Our organization has used Razoo for over a year now, and we are quite pleased with the service. It's like having our own website specifically for donations. Tracking online donations is made easy through Razoo and Razoo provides each donor with a year end tax receipt. I'm not entirely sure why the previous commenter gave such a low rating to Razoo. Our organization's experience has been the opposite, hence our 5 star rating.

This is the worst crowdfunding method out there if you are trying to help a non-profit. They have figured out a loophole allowing Razoo Inc. to mislead customers and create huge profits. The facts are in the fine print and their tax returns, They say they take 2.9%, Try 10%+ . For a clear answer, as the legal department how much money will actually end up at the non-profit once you donate through Razoo.com. They most likely will reply with "well it is our normal practice to take 2.9%" KEYWORD: Normal. Who defines normal, Nobody. They take however much they wan't and then pay Razoo Inc. and the credit card company. Less than $85 dollars of your $100 donation will end up at the non-profit if you go through Razoo.com so please use any other service I like Causes the best but there are ton's out theree this one is just by far the worst and all of the legal stuff is in the fine print that nobody reads.
